Turn your playlist into a card game 🎶

📱 Phone instructions

1. Go to the Spotify app on your phone.
2. Go to the playlist you want to use.
3. Click on the three horizontal dots above the first song to open more options.
4. Click 'Share', then click 'Copy link'
5. Paste the link in the field at the top of this website.
6. Press the 'Get songs from my playlist ' button.

💻 Laptop instructions

1. Go to the Spotify on your laptop.
2. Go to the playlist you want to use.
3. Click on the three horizontal dots above the first song to open more options.

6. Press the 'Get songs from playlist ' button.

Your cards are generated instantly. The total time for generating and printing depends on the number of songs in your playlist:

• 0–50 songs → ± 3 minutes
• 50–100 songs → ± 5 minutes
• 100–150 songs → ± 7 minutes
• 150–200 songs → ± 9 minutes
• 200–250 songs → ± 11 minutes
• 250–300 songs → ± 13 minutes
• 300–350 songs → ± 15 minutes
• 350–400 songs → ± 17 minutes

I recommend using an iPhone, on which you download this Apple Shortcut (credits to Reddit user Sebaszie1000).

This way you are able to play without Spotify showing the song to you. Also, you can keep playing without locking your phone.

If you aren't able to use this Shortcut, then consider this method:

1. Take a phone with access to the camera app while the phone is locked. iPhone has a button on their lock screen and most Android phones have a shortcut as well.
2. Connect it to a speaker.
3. Use the quick access button to access the camera app.
4. Pick a card and point the camera at the QR code on a card.
5. Click on the link and put the phone straight down without looking at the screen.
6. The song will automatically start playing from your connected speaker
7. For the next round, you pick up the phone again, which has locked itself, unlock, access camera, repeat.
